Actually, I suggest bringing a knife to a gun fight. In fact, bring two knives and two guns!

There are a lot of things I like about Rudy Giuliani. I would come close to voting for him for president if it weren’t for his stance on gun control.

I live in Brandon, VT. We have 6 cops. The gun laws in VT is that anyone can have a gun in their home. Loaded weapons must be visable, meaning you can tote a loaded pistol on your hip, as long as it's visable.

While you don't see people toting guns on their hips here, Crime rate is non-existant. But I guess mosquitoes don't do drive-by shootings now do they?

WE WOULD RATHER DO BUSINESS WITH 1000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER

This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia. You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement.

One would think that anti-hate groups from all across the country would be marching on this business . . .and that the National Guard might have to be called to keep the angry crowds back.
But, perhaps in these stressful times one might be tempted to let the proprietors simply make their statement . .
We are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty. And after all, it is just a sign.
You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign?

Answer: A Funeral Home
(Who said morticians had no sense of humor?)

You gotta love it!!! God Bless America!

That is the truth. I think if a criminal knows that the person on the other side of the door of a home or business has a gun they would be less likely to mess with them! But of course the liberal media does not want to report success stories--it doesn't make for juicy stories.

BTW, great job on Carol's blog design. It looks great!!
