Thanks for all the congratulations! Although, I can’t take much credit for it other than giving birth to him, raising him, worrying over him, nursing him through sicknesses, feeding, clothing, giving him shelter, all the grey hairs I got teaching him to drive, all the sleep lose waiting for him to come home….
Oh - sorry - I slipped into the Southern Mother guilt trip thing….
Thanks
VW - yes, he gets new bars doesn’t he! lol He’d die of embarassment if he read this, I think! lol
Empress - he’s a tanker in the United States Army
He’s a platoon commander (of tanks) right now with the 1st ID.
HOOAH!

Congratulations to your son Josh. I am sure he is quite a nice young man, thank him for me for serving in our military. My brother just retired after 20 years some which were spent in Germany. Hope he likes it there, he will learn fluent German as my sister-in-law and their children did.
God Bless him and I will keep him in my prayers as I will all the people serving in the armed services.

Beth,
Nah, He’d understand, trust me. He may not say it and feign the modesty act, but he’d understand. Your pride is justifiable by any standard.

Congratulation to Josh. That is quite an honor. You should be justifiably proud.

Wow, You have to be proud of your offspring.
Never again will I doubt that America’s future is in good hands.
No we’re not talking about the hands of the postering Senators, Journalists or Criminals, our nations future is in our young men and women’s hands.
The generation coming to manhood, and womanhood in this nation are the only hope for the world.
They are not selfish, they are willing to put it on the line while I grow old in America.
I love the kids of today. They are the only hope for America. I am too old to take up arms for my beloved country, but I am not too old to recognize that the young ones who stepped up to the challenge, deserve our prayers, praise and THANKS……
May the all powerful hands of the creator of all, protect your son, and all of us from the demonic wars we must fight.
