Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America website is a great site for getting up to date and real information about our troops.The site covers resources available for the troops, gives a voice to the troops through blogs and posts from soldiers who are currently deployed or veterans of this war. It covers issues the troops are facing, daily life in Iraq and Afghanistan and much, much more.
It is devoted to getting the real story out directly from the people who are on the front lines and living in the line of fire.
It’s definitly worth a look.

I’m not exactly thrilled that they endorsed Murtha’s comments (see in the press releases) and they seem to want us to pull out of Iraq, but to each his own. There another website of vets and family members who have organized here:

Patriette - thanks for the info - I didn’t see that. I agree with you. I am not thrilled with that either.
Like you said, to each their own, but I would not endorse Murtha’s recent comments/behavior in any way.
