Doll at Freedom Watch says the women of Code Pink need to blink! She says:
They have the audacity EVERY Friday night to stand out in front of Walter Reed Army Hospital spewing their anti-war garbage.
Rant on Doll – they say they support the troops, but not the war. I haven’t been able to figure out how you can support the troops while condemning them for their work.
Carol of The Median Sib saw an interesting and thought provoking bumper sticker the other day.
Tel-Chai Nation posts Auto-terrorist acknowledges the Koran’s influence. She quotes the North Carolina terrorist, Mohammed Taheri-azar:
“Allah gives permission in the Koran for the followers of Allah to attach those who have waged war against them, with the expectation of eternal paradise in case of martyrdom and/or living one’s life in obedience of all of Allah’s commandments found throughout the Koran’s 114 chapters … “
No wonder he is smiling in the pictures we see of him leaving court. He’s expecting paradise. Do we really need to know more about what this enemy has in mind for us?
One Marine’s View hasn’t posted since he got home last week. Hooah!
Euphoric Reality has a Breath of Fresh Air giving some thought to why free will and personal responsibility are not mutually exclusive.
Stuck on Stupid has an interesting take on the left’s new favorite son Russ Feingold. Rachel at Rachel’s Desk also has some discussion on Feingold.
AubreyJ. has a report on Operation Swarmer.
Laura Lee at Wide Awake Cafe give a great analogy between gardening and the War on Terror, where ever the current front of that war is.
Hooah 545’s daughter is coming home for a few days!!
Keep My Soldier Safe has a wonderful story that brought tears to my eyes. This is the reason I started the Blue Star Blogroll. Those of us with children and other loved ones in the service know exactly how it feels.
Hooah Wife is offering ‘Wednesday Hero’. If you have a loved one you would like profiled as a Wednesday Hero you can contact her with the information. She says:
We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we’re in a time when there are no heros, they just don’t know where to look.

Hi Beth! I tried tracking back but for some reason it has not showed up! Thanks for mentioning Code Pink in this weeks Carnival. They are ridiculous beyond words and their petition is awful. I agree with you whole heartedly. How can you in one breathe say you support the troops, not the war? Like you so well pointed out that means obviously they are as hypocritical as their words. They disrespect the work these troops do on behalf of this country and American people.

Blue Star Blogs…
I do not have a loved one in the service, though I have two adopted soldiers still deployed and one who is coming home very soon! My deepest respect and admiration goes out to the families whose loved ones are fighting this battle for freedom….
