Things are not going well there. the country is getting closer and closer to civil war. This is what most people in the USA now believe. They believe that the war was a mistake. That is what most Americans now believe. also our casualty figures have not shown any meaningful reduction .http://icasualties.org/oif/

Latest news is we are doing better and better over in Iraq. Our death/casualty numbers are taking a plunge and the Iraqis are getting much better at fending for themselves. All three of my in country sources say we are almost ready to just have SHTF forces in Iraq and move on to other problems in the Middle East. I wonder if the commanders feel the same way?

If anybody out there doesn’t have penpals in Iraq, get some. It will change your whole perspective.
