The last poster wrote, "are three reasons I don’t appreciate, or respect four anti-American activists going into Iraq for the sake of befriending our enemies. I won’t give them the satisfaction of calling them Christian."

Question, who are our "enemies"? Certainly not the people of Iraq. Afterall, the President keeps saying that the people of Iraq are our friends.

P.S. When Jesus said, "Love your enemies," I'm pretty sure he meant don't kill them.

I'll ask again, since the question wasn't answered before:

"Just exactly what does 'quit interferring with the people who can actually do something to bring about peace' mean?

It t’s been more than 3 years since the initial invasion of Iraq and the conditions in that country worse day by day."

The implied questions are is What exactly are the 'professionals' doing to "bring peace" to Iraq?
and
What peace?

Charlie,

Are you asking that seriously or to just be able to make your own statement that everything is worse in Iraq and you've been there yourself?

If you are serious - I think the post here explains that pretty well.

I personally know American Soldiers who have had to protect 'peace keepers' while they protested against the troops. Even as snipers were shooting at them from surrounding buildings.

American, British and Canadian troops saved your comrades. SAVED THEM.

A great deal of time, effort and money was expended in rescuing your comrades - tax dollars, the time of planners, interrogations of those who could give intel (something your comrades refused to assist with much to the chagrin of others who are captives). Not only that - but they criticized their rescuers and refused to admit they were even rescued.

It doesn't matter - if you find yourself in that situation our Soldiers will do what they can to rescue you too - no matter how ungrateful you are.

BTW - I take it very personally as my son is one of those Soldiers who could very well find himself having to put himself and his troops in harms way to rescue people from your little naive group.

I am curious,

Just exactly what does "quit interferring with the people who can actually do something to bring about peace" mean?

It's been more than 3 years since the initial invasion of Iraq and the conditions in that country worse day by day (I've been there three times already with CPT delegations).

Rightwing Nuthouse takes on most of the right wing bloggers...

I'm not sure Rick Moran is getting at.
The quick version of the story:
Jill Carrol is that Christan Science Monitor writer who was taken hostage about 3 months ago. As you all know by now, she was released recently. Apparently she had made a vid...

AMEN! You are 100% correct! And what amazes me is the people who preach "peace at any cost" don't realize that they're causing more war and deaths - while enjoying the luxuries of freedom that they have as a result of previous wars.
