Americans have very short attention spans. Of course, that’s what the mullah’s count on. Osama BenOver himself once said that all they had to do was be patient, because we would lose focus.

After the initial outrage over the killings and riots and general mayhem following the Danes publication of a few political satire cartoons, we seem to have moved on.

The threat is still there and still very real.

The Danish Imam, Ahmed Akkari, who used the Danish Muhammad Cartoons to inflame the Islamic world in the Cartoon Wars has now reportedly been taped on a hidden camera threatening to kill Naser Khader, a member of Denmark’s Parliament. The reason for the death threats apparently are due to Mr. Khader founding an organization for moderate, democratic-minded Muslims in Denmark.

Agora has an excellent thorough report on the incident and the events surrounding it. Danish Imam Ahmed Akkari: Kill Naser Khader.

At first Akkari denied the threats and said ‘they are welcome to try to prove it’. Now that Akkari found out his comments had been taped he says he was just ‘jesting’. [We all know what joksters and good-time-guys those Imans and Mullahs are!]

Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen has issued a statement:

I only know of the case from the media. But if things are the way they seem, I find reason to express horror that anyone could seriously consider saying that. It’s quite shocking shocking that an elected Danish politician is threatened like that. I assume the police will investigate what’s what in this case and then I count on them to deal with it.

and

I think that, in any case - even if one is only toying with the thought of terrorist attacks against elected representatives - it is a gravely serious matter, which one must distance oneself from to the greatest degree. Apart from that, I assume as a matter of course that the Police will make inquiries into this matter.

Jyllands-Posten has reported that Naser Khader is taking time off from his political duties due to the threats.

As per Agora, there have been more threats, threats received by mail and threats to Khader and his family.

The debates go on as to whether or not Akkari was ‘jesting’ or not and what kind of consequence he should have for making threats to a Danish official.

In the meantime, Khader has had to accept protection and it is said he has suffered a nervous collapse. Apparently, he doesn’t think the joke is that funny.

When Mullahs’ mouths are moving, they are lying. They have no problem lying to Infidels (that’s us). I’m not making an assumption there - they say that themselves.

When Mullahs’ make death threats, it’s probably wise to take it seriously. All one has to do is look at their history of blowing things and people up.

I for one, am grateful to the Danes for their courage in the face of all they have been through over the past months. I also hope they know that there are many in the world who are behind them and support them.

Denmark - we’ve got your back …..
