Though each individual day may not be filled with success and triumph, the culmination of these days does show this. It shows a people who have been given a new life, a new hope and a true freedom. Liberated they were on April 9, 2003 and closer to self-sufficiency they are on April 9, 2006. However this thing turns out, it will have been worth the effort. Even if we don't get a democracy in Iraq, we'll have removed an evil dictator who started two major wars and gassed his own people.
