Apparently, Comedy Central decided to reject a portion of last nights episode of South Park that was to include a cameo appearance by mohammad
.
This has been highly upsetting to muslims around the world.
South Park is well-known for it’s irreverence of pretty much everything.
But last night, instead of exhibiting an image of muhammad, a blank screen appeared stating that Comedy Central refused to broadcast an image of mohammad on their network.
Jesus has made fairly regular appearances on South Park including well known appearances of Jesus covered in feces. Yet they refuse to show even a cameo of muhammad.
I never would have expected this kind of discrimination from a network of the calibre of Comedy Central.
George W. and the religious right are going too far by imposing their will on even cultural icons like South Park.
Contact Comedy Central and demand they give equal time for mohammad!

I do not think that too many people understand the South Park Crew… They pick fun on and at everyone and everything… Both sides of the political field… the war… the news media and oh yeah– ALL Religions and the none religious bunch too… They do go overboard sometimes but that is the South Park Crew…
Even Comedy Central… was being picked on… more or less… as being a chicken for not showing the image of Mohammad. Those who saw part one last Wednesday week… will know what I’m talking about. Part Two came on Wednesday night and shown again Thursday night. One thing for sure… 85% of all their shows are not good for even older kids to watch… Adults Only please!

I don’t know if you are serious or not… but you do realize that comedy central didn’t want to show Muhammad because Muslims got so pissed over those cartoons in Denmark, right?
