I ran across this story at American Diva. Like Sondra, I have moved out of the immediate Atlanta area and love it.

Atlanta has lost it’s southernness and is none the better for it.

But that’s beside the point.

I’ve always heard that ‘He needed killin’ was a legitimate defense in Southern courts.

This is a story about someone who ‘needed killin’. True to Southern jurisprudence, the man who killed him was cleared of charges in a Cobb County Georgia court this week.
