That’s right. I’ve thought about it and decided the best way to handle this is to let them have at it. Why not?

The ACLU says Westboro Baptist Church Cult and their little gods, Fred and Shirley Phelps-Roper should, of course, be allowed to exercise their rights to freedom of expression through their protests at the funerals of fallen American Soldiers.

The ACLU is opposing efforts that would require them to hold their little hate-fests at least 300 feet away from the funerals. This would be out of respect for the families of the fallen.

I think they should be allowed to do their little cult-hate thing right there. No out of the ordinary constraints.

AS LONG AS there are also no constraints on the Marine Guard, father, uncles, aunts and especially the Mother of the fallen.

What’s good for one is good for the other.

I’m a believer in natural consequences. Let them protest and be allowed to experience the natural consequences of their hate. Let those who love the fallen Soldier beat them to a bloody pulp.

That will take care of the problem much quicker than any legislation will.
