The Dixie Chicks say President Bush is not worthy of their respect.
Natalie Maines took back her previous appology for her previous statements made overseas as an American citizen during wartime. She said she doesn’t feel that way anymore.
Her bandmate Martie Maguire had this to say:
I’d rather have a small following of really cool people who get it, who will grow with us as we grow and are fans for life, than people that have us in their five-disc changer with Reba McEntire and Toby Keith. We don’t want those kinds of fans. They limit what you can do.
So they only want ‘really cool’ fans. A small group of ‘really cool’ fans at that.
I hope that small group of ‘really cool’ fans can support the lifestyle they have become accustomed to.

The Dixie Chicks are not worthy of my respect . . . or my money. I wouldn’t waste my money or time on their music.

I think it was 60 Minutes last weekend in which I saw them featured. They just are so full of their own self-importance and sense of being in the right, that they can’t see how toxically polluted they are. Them and George Clooney make me ill.
And most of the Hollywood elite.

Larry the Cable Guy had it right when he said the only reason anyone pays attention to the fat one is the two nice looking ones behind her.
Of course, now one of the nice looking ones has chimed in! Wasn’t it Twain who said that it is better to remain quiet and have everyone think you are an idiot than to open your mouth and prove them right?

Dixie Clits: Still Not Ready To Make Nice…
From CNN:
Today, the Chicks refuse to apologize to fans who were upset by Maines’ comment.
“We don’t make decisions based on that,” Maines says. “We don’t go, ‘OK, our fans are in the red states, so I’m g…

Ahhh!!! I quit listening to these people the first time opened their mouths in Europe.
I quit watching them. I gave the three CD’s I did have to the Goodwill.
I put them in the same catagory as “She who will not be named” (C.S.).
They are unworthy of my time, money, attention, AND respect.
The actual quotation from Twain is: “It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”

They posed naked just to make a point..does that not say something about who they are and arent!..UGH.

I listen to country music, but I will change the station when one of their songs comes on. I prefer to listen to Toby Keith and Charlie Daniels and Montgomery Gentry…people who “get it” and are true patriots doing what they can to support the troops!
Dixie Twits-I’m ashamed they are from the United States!

The chicks can say and or do anything they want. That is the freedom that our military underscores. I am free to refuse to support them with my dollars and that is MY freedom.
To hell with the Dixie Chicks.
