It seems that there is an American-style restaurant in Paris, The American Dream.
The paper placemats make it pretty obvious how the French feel about America, in more ways than one. Not to mention that all the food is fried.

Ok, because I live in France I love and hate the French. It changes every day. You should know the American Dream is not at all a new restaurant, I have been going there for years. It was just the first time it ever occurred to me to document the bizarro placemats, which I find midly amusing and offensive. I can assure everybody that there are plenty of French people who do in fact love and appreciate the United States. I swear.
Thanks for the corrections Rachel. I will fix that. I’m sure it is a love/hate relationship the French have with us. But they just set themselves up for ridicule and it’s so much fun to make fun of them. What can I say? LOL
Sometimes when I read French blogs I feel bad for making fun of them. Because many of the people whose blogs I read are irritated at the same things we get irritated with the French over.
But then I get over feeling bad and do it again …..
