Got an email from my brother. It said,

News from church camp: Heard from [bro's daughter] finally today (Friday).
She actually called [her mother] and said, “Are you sitting down?”Then the cell phone connection broke!!!!

Second call a few minutes later and started with, “I’m in the emergency room” Cell phone breaks service again!!!!!!!!

Third call a few minutes later, “I’m OK….. I broke my wrist.”

I wonder if things like that happen in threes? Maybe I should just keep myself planted in my chair here at my blogging comp for a few says. I can arrange for food and “necessity breaks” somehow, I’m sure…

Stay off the injured foot/feet. Take your meds as needed and heal. Meanwhile, bank all the sympathy you can.

Last Thursday I was released from my neon pink cast that I have been carrying around for the past 2 months. I fractured my ankle and tore my tendon about 40% across the length of my lower leg. Boy is my honey happy now... He got tired of the daily hassle with my crutches. One thing though, one learns to get around like crawling, hobbling, using a wheeled office chair to get around in the kitchen. I was able to work from home for a couple of months. Now I am catching up around the house. Take care of yourself... freedom feels wonderful ! I really can empathize with you. Poor dear, there is no doubt that's gotta hurt. Both of my sons have broken their small toes within days of each other over the last week. Shared misery makes for shared whining. Just like boys to compete for everything in life (even sympathy). Your family connects blogging to you, much the same as mine does. Now you know why I took a break. It was the toe-whining that drove me back to it (lol). Funny how the biggest missed step in life often comes from the one place we least expect it to happen.
