I really wish this were a joke. But it’s not.
It seems that in the United Kingdom’s dhimmitude extends to health care now. Even to hospital gowns.
From the Evening Post:
Muslim women booking into hospital for operations can now respect their religion by wearing this unique burka-style gown.
It’s called the ‘Inter-Faith Gown’. I don’t know what’s ‘inter-faith’ about it. It just doesn’t strike me as a style that Christian or Jewish women would be caught dead in. That might have been an unfortunate choice of words. We wouldn’t be caught alive in one of those contraptions. Yeah, that’s better.
Ms Jacob said: “I noticed a gap in the market and thought that it would be great if there was a gown that helped to preserve a patient’s modesty.”
The gown provides extra comfort and cover for patients undergoing medical procedures, and whose culture or religion requires them to be more modestly clothed.
Trials of the gown have already been carried out at Royal Preston Hospital and the response has been overwhelming.
They don’t even have to wage war for us to capitulate to their demands.
h/t to My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy who shares some of our demands for attire and treatment while hospitalized so that we won’t be traumatized by those very unflattering and unfashionable hospital gowns. I mean, does ANYBODY look good in those? I don’t THINK so.
If the muslims get their own specially made attire, I agree with Beth, we should demand no less than equal treatment.
Demand to accessorize!
Oh - and it should be paid for by a Nanny State as well, don’t cha think?
gute Nacht
UPDATE: via Right Truth, The Steel Deal has more news on muslim fashion attire, swimwear to be exact.

Oh for heaven’s sake — this is going to fair. No hospital has ever cared about how comfortable I am while the wind blows through my backside … but yet they will go out of their way to accomodate a murderous religion? My head hurts now ….

That is so strange. do you really want someone operating on you who can’t even SEE where they are going because they are covered up. Someone who can’e hardly MOVE, because of all that fabric? That is worse than the pictures of Muslim swimwear we posted on last year. And this is coming to a hospital near you, if we are not careful.
Where is that anyway? Britain? Surely NOT in the USA … yet.

Oops, sorry for the typos. I was just so disturbed by the picture.

Dhimmitude in British Hospitals…
These are the new ‘hospital gowns for Muslims’ as introduced in British hospitals. I’m not sure if these are just for the patients or if they are also for the nurses and doctors. Can you imagine trying to examine a…

Debbie - yes Britian. I had the same reaction you did. It could be self limiting in that it’ll take the medical so long to find their bodies under all that they may just be to late.
Jo - it made my head hurt too - but then, maybe that will set a precedant so that we can start demanding designer gowns for our hospital stays! lol

Either you get covered from head to toe or you get your bum in the breeze! Can we get an outfit in the middle here?! Oh, yeah, it’s all or nothing…

I would respect their modesty more if some of their number weren’t trying to kill us.

This is downright ridiculous. Who cares when one is in a hospital and needing care? That should be the least of one’s worries…

Converting to Islam is not enough…
Let’s not be liberal idiots, the recent warnings to the West to Convert or Die will not end there. Conversion will not be enough; all the rest of what we take as Western Culture will have to go.

Inter-faith: another slang for multiculturalism?…
Britain’s dhimmitude has long ceased to surprise me, let alone depress me. Nevertheless, here’s something worthy of note: a gown that can be worn by Muslim women in Britain’s hospitals (Hat tip: Blue Star Chronicles):…
