What General Dannatt said was greatly misrepresented by the main stream media. That was, of course, an outrage.

However, his concerns are becoming more and more widespread in both the US and British militaries.

Take a look at the amount of days in combat that one unit had in WW2 and Korea

The stress levels in Iraq, I believe, are comparable.

The propaganda war really irritates me. Half truths and sound bite headlines are so misleading. It could well be the end of us.

Great summary, Beth! I really hope Britain stays the course - they’re our most trusted and powerful ally in the War on Terror! I’m glad that Sir Richard seems to realize how much of a threat Britain is facing at home, too - if they don’t wake up soon, they’ll be faced with Sharia Law in London, and the Queen will be forced to bow to a Mullah. Great post.
