Unbelievably, The Traitor Lynne Stewart was sentenced to 28 months in prison as opposed to the 30 years the prosecutors were asking for.
NEW YORK - Civil rights lawyer Lynne Stewart was sentenced Monday to 28 months in prison on a terrorism charge for helping a client who plotted to blow up New York City landmarks communicate with his followers.
Stewart, 67, could have faced up to 30 years in prison. She smiled as the judge announced his decision to send her to prison for less than 2 1/2 years.
Both the Washington Post and the New York Times wrote sympathetic articles about her this morning. No surprise there.
The MSM is portraying her as contrite, although she does not express remorse for her actions against her country, but for how she testified. She says if she had said this or hadn’t said that she might not have been convicted. She bemoans that she was not a better lawyer. She’s contrite that some of her legal work was faulty.
“I still believe it was justifiable  but perhaps not in the way that I did it,†Ms. Stewart said.
A life-time radical left anti-government activist, The Traitor Lynne Stewart said she didn’t think she had to work within the parameters of the law because she felt it was unconstitutional.
All she did was provide material assitance to terrorists plotting against the United States after their first attack on the World Trade Center in 1994. That’s all. How was she supposed to know that they would attack the United States again. Yeah, they were plotting and planning to, but how was she to know they really would. Right? Her lawyer said there was no way she could have known they would succeed in an attack like September 11th, 2001. Yeah, right.
The Traitor Lynne Stewart says that people wouldn’t have viewed her actions so harshly had it not been for 9/11. If the terrorists she was assisting in their plans to attack the United States, kill Americans and destroy landmarks within America had not been able to succeed with their plans, perhaps she wouldn’t have been convicted. In other words, it’s all about HER. 2,996 people died that day. Countless others have died or been injured in terror attacks and fighting since that day, and in the Traitor Lynne Stewart’s mind, it’s all about her.
Today a traitor got a slap on the wrist.
We are doomed.
Here is a reminder of what she did.
Lemuel says it’s sympathy for the devil. ‘Cry me a fraking river. The hag did the crime now let her do the time.’
Much more at Something …. and Half of Something (who has led a campaign to write the judge in the case and kept us reminded of The Traitor’s actions).
28 months. That’s the price you pay when you conspire with terrorists against the United States of America. I’ll be writing one last note to Judge Koeltl.

Sentencing Day…
So what sentencing guideline did the judge rely upon in sentencing Stewart? Also, why the discrepancy between Sattar’s sentence and Stewarts. Both were convicted of the same crime, and Stewart’s presence was what enabled Sattar to transmit the inform…

Why am I not surprised? This is the liberal judicial system, where 3 white men attending Duke are being railroaded for a rape of a black woman that all evidence says they did not commit, and a treasonous woman providing aid and comfort to a convicted terrorist gets 28 months.

Maybe jail will give her the justice so well deserved.
I think she will be watching her back in much fright for every minute of those 28 months.
Good post Beth…

This woman is not a traitor. If anyone’s a traitor in this country, it’s our so-called “esteemed” leader. He didn’t do anything to prevent 9/11, even though he knew in advance about it (proof of my claim is located at this site). Who’s more traitorous, a woman who helped another human being, or a man who hurt an entire country?

Hey William and Aubrey - did y’all see the pics of her after her sentencing. She is smiling and defiant. The pics prior to the sentencing made her look like a sad old lady. LORD!!

Hannah, you have things backwards. She assisted terrorists who were plotting against my country. She doesn’t see anything wrong with that. She helped a ‘human being’, as you and she say, to kill Americans.
How about having sympathy for the victims rather than the predator.
