I've been very disheartened at times by the way this administration has seemed to bend over backward to get world approval (which will never happen). But I agree, our job is to hold their feet to the fire. As frustrated as I get with this administration, the dems are downright dangerous. We can only make the message clearer by making sure Republicans retain control of Congress. What we need is a formal declaration of war, one that not only states our national interest in stabilizing Iraq but also that makes formal our commitment to destroying Islamic expansionism and to defending our own borders. The priorities have to be spelled out and acted upon without delay or equivocation. Despite all of my disappointments with the overly politically correct approach of this administration, I think we all need to take steps to get out the vote now and continue to work hard to keep their feet to the fire to get done what needs to be done.
