Kit Jarrell has an update on the Camp Pendleton 8. She has raised money to assist their families and continues to use her influence to attempt to help bring justice for these men.
All the support in the world, however, cannot change the fact that these men are living in filthy, disgusting, unfair conditions that we do not allow our enemies to live in, and not only is our government doing nothing about it, but they are the driving force behind it.
This story is outrageous. The media seems so concerned about the treatment of our enemies but ignores that we have our own Marines in a military prison on charges brought about by the word of insurgents in a war zone.
We, as a country, do not need to prove to the world that we are a kinder/gentler military by carrying out an injustice against our own military men. President Bush is the Commander and Chief, the buck stops with him. He must stop this injustice. Now!
Please continue to write your representatives and the White House and demand justice for the Pendleton 8.
