The Pirate’s Cove presents a special hero with Saturday’s Hero on Veterans Day.
Theodore’s World has a beautiful tribute to our veterans!
“To those warriors, who have passed on since and to those who gave their youth, their health and their peace of mind in the fight for freedom, particularly the freedom of speech. We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.†~ Orwell
Cozy Reader has a beautiful tribute to her father, a World War II Veteran who fought with Patton’s Army, fought in the Battle of the Bulge and liberated a concentration camp. I am awed that such great men live their lives among us and we hardly know what they have done.
The Bull asks some difficult questions and comes up with the answers that matter. He asked wounded Veterans if it is worth the cost ….
Every last one had the same thing to say, though each in their own words. Their answer is that Yes, it is worth everything we have paid so far and everything we have yet to pay. Freedom is worth any price!
If this is the position of those that have given so much, who are we to argue? Never question the worth of your Freedom. ….
A Rose By Any Other Name pays tribute to a True Star and Veteran.

Soon the troops will be tried as war criminals. The people have spoken; last weeks election was only the first step.
Blue Star Blog: I was going to delete this because this is a post honoring our Troops and your comment has no place here. I decided to leave it because it helps us remember that the enemy is every where - often just a mouse click away.
I would think someone from Fwanch, such as yourself, would be a little slower to accuse anyone of war crimes.
BTW - last weeks elections do not indicate what you think they do. The American people will not be defeated. If you think we are weak, you are sadly mistaken.
