I understand what you are saying, I didn't really know your father either. There are many things I have learned about him by reading your and your siblings blogs and as well as your mother's. We knew each other's fathers as a child knows a relative. We had other things on our minds. Learning about their past wasn't high on our agendas!! It is a shame, for I am sure there is much they could have taught us had we been willing to stop long enough to learn it. Suffice it to say, we both had fabulous fathers and fabulous uncles!
