mudkitty - there’s a difference between what used to be called ‘liberal’ and the leftist, socialist, communist lemmings that are roving robotically around these days. ‘Retreat’ ‘Surrender’ ‘We are Losers’ ‘America can’t win’ ‘Bush is stupid’ ‘Bush is smart enough to have plotted and schemed the 9/11 plot’ ‘I have an ingrown toe nail and it’s Bush’s fault’ …. yada yada. They all say the same things.

Suzie - I’m glad to see you back online! Don’t let politics complicate your recovery. These things go in cycles. Hopefully they won’t be able to do too much damage. The positive side is that they will show their true colors and there will probably be no way they will be viable in the 2008 election.

Taking care of yourself right now is what you need to be doing!!! Go to bed!!

My feelings are the same as Jane’s. It absolutely breaks my heart and God help us all. Thank you for sharing that letter..it just tears me up.

Beth, thank you so much for your prayers during my time of need. I am still recovering but since the election it has hendered me having a speedy recovery….I just can’t accept the direction our country is headed. I pray I am wrong, but I see bad days ahead and a possible attack very soon. Our soldiers, President and country are in my prayers every day….God Be with you and your family…

You are cherry picking. There are twice as many soldiers saying, this war is just stupid! We can’t even tell the difference between the good guys and the bad guys! Just go read the letters at Stars and Stripes. Just go read the letters to the Military Times.

Why is it that the only party running Iraq Occupation Vets was the Democrats? Hello? Why is it that the only Senetor (elect, albiet) with a son in Iraq is a Democrat?

There is a difference between the war on terrorists, and the occupation of Iraq. There is a difference between the government of this great country as our founding fathers concieved it, and the Bush Dynasty. There is a difference between governance, period, and the Bush Administration, and there is a difference between conservatives and rightwingers. Conservatives are respectable, and appalled by whats going on in the name of conservatisim. Rightwingers are radical extremeists who want to take us backward to before the New Deal.

It’s this cherry picking thing you rightwingers do that lost you the election in the first place.

WOW Beth, that is SO powerful. It sickens me that our country has taken this turn, and in my opinion, for the worse. My heart breaks for all our soldiers. They are far from home and constantly in harm’s way and all they ask if for a little support. God help us all.
