About the Elections
I have been hearing ENDLESS analysis about why the American people voted the way we voted on November 7th.
Most of the speculation in the MSM has to do with the War on Terror – specifically the Battle of Iraq which they call the War in Iraq. They also speculate that it’s because the American people don’t like President Bush and/or his policies. Some even see it as a move towards the progressives. They are just gleeful that the people LIKE the dems (uh, yeah, Kerry has so much personality – ya know …).
Here’s MY analysis (not that anyone asked).
People want to hear about the world the way they WANT it to be, not the way it IS. The progressives give them that.

Gosh Beth you sure encapsulated the sentiments of many, including myself. The truth of the matter is that few care to hear the truth, and the oxy moron is that these are the same people that claim – “the truth will make you free.”
The msm’s brand of truth is not that of freedom, but bondage to the belief that if you lie long enough-you and others will believe it. There is nothing free about lying and there is nothing free about dillusions. That is exactly what this past mid-term election was about.

That sounds reasonable. I have come to the conclusion many of the masses need to be lead around by the hand and have everything explained to them.
