I have seen a few of those and I was not aware that King wrote “Shawshank”. If I ever knew that, I don’t remember.

I’m not a big King fan. However, I did read The Stand and thought it was one of THEE best books I’ve ever read.
I also love his book On Writing for writers. Filled with excellent tips.

i read all of his stories first and then saw the movies (except the Shining) and was always disappointed in the movies…

REALLLY liked all of his books, but especially Eyes of the Dragon.

Fantastic list! I really love Eyes of the Dragon. I’ve read that one a few times. Carrie was the first SK novel I read as a kid. Freaked me out.

I typically don’t like King as I find that he rambles on and on and on and I get so bored. Also, I tend not to watch his flicks as they don’t generally follow the books so well. But, having said that… I really did love #6, #7, #8 and #10 (which is my favourite out of your list). My absolute favourite King story though is the Langoliers - loved, loved, loved that story!!!

Plus I think I must be the only one in the world who hasn’t seen the Shawshank Redemption… or read it. :\
