I got through the ENTIRE day without ANYONE wishing me a Happy Birthday. I even didn’t think about it being my birthday except when I wrote down the date throughout the day.
Then after work I came home and my Beloved Curmudgeon had a big ol’ note on the computer that read: ‘Happy Birthday to my best wife yet.’ BEST WIFE YET! HA!
Then I got on the internet and apparently someone has let the cat out of the bag that it’s my 39th birthday. OKAY!! It’s my birthday and I made a decision that 39 was a good year and I’m sticking with it. My Mother stayed 39 till my oldest sister turned 40 so I figure if she can do it so can I!
So - ANYWAY - seriously, thank you to everyone who came by and wished me a happy birthday! It made my day
Thanks - Thanks - Thanks - Thanks for bakin’ a cake (HEH!) and my Cotillion sisters, y’all are great.

Drat! Missed it.
Oh, well, you’re just a pup; maybe I’ll still be around to wish you a happy next year. On time.

Happy belated birthday dear! I stuck with 36 as my eternal birthday. Just liked the number! Hope you had a great day and that you were treated like the celebrity you truly are!

Excuse me, I tried calling you all day to wish you a happy birthday. Whether or not you answer the phone is a different story. I feel greatly offended right now…I’m not your daughter until you apologize.
BSC Beth: And to think I was just saying nice things about you
PS - thanks for the happy birthday wishes ….
