I got tagged by Patty at This, That and Frog Hair. She explains ….

Ok this is how it works. The player (me) must list 3 things that I would love to get for Christmas. Then I must list 3 things that I definitely do not want to get for Christmas. Then I tag 5 friends and list their names. The one I tag needs to write on their blogs about their Christmas wishes then tag 5 more people. They must also clarify all the rules. When you tag someone you need to leave a comment that says “you’ve been Christmas tagged!” in their comments and tell them to read your blog. Ok everybody.

Three Things I would Love to get for Christmas ….

  1. I would love to get a gaudy, ostentatious, semi-obscene ring that signifies to the world that my Beloved Curmudgeon loves me. It would reek of class! lol
  2. I would love for both of my children to be home and safe.
  3. I would love for the powers that be to get over themselves and start being statesmen instead of politicians. How about putting the people and the well-being of our country ahead of self-enrichment and political ambition. I know, that’s asking too much - but this is a wish list.

Three Things I Definitly Don’t Want for Christmas …

  1. NO MORE JUNK..I am sick of junk. (I agree with Peggy on this one!).
  2. I don’t want to hear any more about how we ‘can’t’. We can’t do anything with that attitude and what purpose does it serve except to embolden our enemies.
  3. I don’t want to hear another person say ‘I support the Troops, I just don’t support the war.’ Those things are mutually exclusive and a ridiculous thing to say. Either you are with us or you are against us. The same people who make statements like that have a tendancy to call our Troops stoopid and under-educated. They don’t let the facts get in the way of their disrespect for and contempt for our military and our government.
