‘m missing something here. Autry claims to be 50 years old. Claims to be Viet Nam War veteran. So, he was born in 1956, and would hve been 18 in 1974. We were already bringing troops home, and no new soldiers were sent. My question is, was he really a vet? Obviously a hero, but I doubt a vet of Viet Nam.

BSC: Well, I wondered the same thing but hated to mention it under the circumstances. I’m thinking maybe the media might have confused the story. Maybe he is a vet, but not Vietnam??? I don’t know the answer to that. Hopefully, he’ll clarify. Thanks for coming by

I saw this on the raw news feeds this morning and couldn’t really post today…but I am glad you did this story. THIS IS GOOD NEWS….news we all need more of…couldn’t you just kiss this guy?
