Ted Kennedy got a few minutes of face time on the news today by replaying the 1960’s defeatist mantra of cutting funding for troops to force American troops to have to cut and run from conflict. Just like in the 1960s, this mode of operation results in a weakened America and a weakened Americans image throughout the world.

Isn’t he a brave one!

Kennedy fights ‘immense new mistake’ of troop surge

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Sen. Edward Kennedy launched a pre-emptive strike Tuesday against President Bush’s anticipated plans to send more troops to Iraq.

He wouldn’t fight FOR America - but he doesn’t seem to mind fighting AGAINST America. Now go put on a neck brace.

BTW Teddy, you keep wanting to make comparisons between Vietnam and Iraq. The only similarities between these two wars is that the same group of progressives are screaming at the top of their lungs for America to surrender. We were never so weak as we have been since you and your peers stared declaring defeat at every conflict we’ve had.

Theodore’s World has more.

Sniper One offers Teddy some scotch to help him sleep at night.
