I have been fooling with a lot of things this weekend - not to mention working. I’ve also been ’socializing’ around the internet.
Using StumbleUpon I found this site that has a page full of strange statues from around the world. I’ve actually seen a few of these statues in person. He has some pretty good pictures there.
chezDiva says Barney Franks needs to relax - take a yoga class or something. At the very least someone needs to take the gavel away from him!
Life~Florida~Whatever has the Carnival of Cats up.
SeeJaneMom has a ‘must read’ on the power of blogging.
Oh - and another thing - get on over to my StumbleUpon page, my DIGG page, MyBlogLog page, and hit the delicious and technorati buttons in the sidebar and make me your friend or buddy or join my community or whatever it does and I’ll reciprocate. I’ve been looking for people I know over at those places and if I’ve found you, I’ve added you to my pages. Let me know you’re there and I’ll add you.

Thank you for your kind words. I am flattered you read my screed.Perhaps when I figure out my own “trackback approval” option, I’ll find out sooner…duh.
And it is OK that you have not watched a full episode of 24.
I have a slight tendency toward sudden dizziness, and I CAN’T watch too much of it. The boxes within boxes and fast jerky movements. It makes me sick (literally) that I can’t partake in what seems to be a great show. But truthfully, until he starts killing TERRORISTS, not just the Swedish banker PC wannabe “terrorists”,the nausea might not be worth it anyway. As I have said in other 24 threads—-Mr. Sutherland Jr. is DROP DEAD OLD SCHOOL SEXY….(Young Guns, ladies?) so I watch what I can “stomach”.

Was Iraq so “broken” we never could have fixed it? Was Hussein’s despotism an avoidable tragedy, or was it, instead, a tragic necessity? I wonder about all these things. I tend to think now …

Ex President For Sale; Bad Poetry No Charge…
There was a time when I believed that Jimmy Carter, while a weak and ineffectual President, had at least distinguished himself in his post-presidency activities. Well, except for the bad poetry. It’s truly cringeworthy. But promoting Habitat…
