I got an email from my mother today saying that January 22nd is supposed to be the ‘gloomiest day of the year’. Interestingly, she had a typo. She spelled ‘year’ as ‘tear’. That looked pretty Freudian to me! In her email, she went on to tell of a series of misfortunes she had to deal with today.
It was particularly interesting because I got several emails of that sort today and heard the same sorts of complaints from people at work today. So I have concluded at there could very well be something to the assertion that January 22nd IS the gloomiest day of the year.
That doesn’t have anything to do with anything. Just sharing it, for whatever it might be worth!!
So some post from my blogroll this evening ….
