Parents who refused to control their out of control child are rewarded for their lack of control. Meanwhile, everyone else is inconvenienced and the parents are getting more rewards and the child is still out of control.
If these parents think they are having trouble controlling a 3-year-old, just wait till she’s 16.

This sense of entitlement is permeating our society and causing problems on many different levels. In this case, the 3-year-old is in control of her parents and her parents are outraged she was not able to control all the people on the plane and the airlines. With that parenting style it’s a safe bet that their troubles haven’t even begun.

When it comes time for the plane (or the class) to depart one station and go on to the next, if a child absolutely will not do what is required (get in a seat or attempt to learn something), should the entire planeload of passengers (or an entire classroom full of learners) have to remain at the starting point so that there is No Child Left Behind?
