I myself am a muslim.. although I came to Islam. I was not born into it and i agree with her. My interpretation of islam is one where we are equalo and do not abuse our women etc... my western upbringing based on equality for all regardless of gender or race ;-)) unfortunatly my views are not shared with many who would call themselves muslim. I commend her for her strength to stand up for what is right and should be a god given right for all people in the world. In short Equality without fear of persecution. N.B. Tolerance comes naturally...it is intolerance that is bred/taught. Just look at any multicultural group of children who havnt been brainwashed. I have read her book INFIDEL. She is a beautiful person, not just physically. Her spirit shines, her sincerity, her strength.
