I had never watched 24 until very recently. I had heard all about it and read about it on blogs. I watched the show one night and people started recommending it and warning me at the same time. They said it was addictive, they said to go out and buy the previous seasons so that I would know what was going on. I did and I have and now I’m addicted. This after just a couple of weeks.
So, now that I’m yet another American Jack Bauer fan, I thought I’d put up a list of some of his quotes. Anyone who follows 24 has undoubtedly heard them before, but … we don’t have time for your personality disorder!!!
- I’m federal Agent Jack Bauer. This is the longest day of my life.
- I have killed two people since midnight. I haven’t slept in over 24 hours. So maybe you should be a little more afraid of me than you are now.
- Jack Bauer breaks every finger in Joseph Prado’s hand then says, ‘This will help you with the pain.’ He then knocks him unconscious.

I’ve been knocked offline twice - and am hoping I can get this comment in before being knocked off again. My browser doesn’t like your blog for some reason!
Anyway - I bought the first season DVD of 24 - started watching it, but got sidetracked - and it’s now boxed up in one of my storage rooms. So AFTER we move into the new house this summer, I’ll get around to watching again.
BSC: Have you upgraded to IE7? This template doesn’t like IE6. I’m hoping that’s what it is anyway!

i have not seen 24 but I want to so bad…. i think I am gonna rent the passed seasons and catch up!
BSC: Resist the urge - don’t let these people talk you into it! They did me and now I’m hooked! But in all the 24 hours I’ve watch, I’ve never seen him sleep - I’m still trying to figure that one out

Which is why Superman wears Jack Bauer pajamas.
When Jack was a kid, he made is parents eat his vegetables. Because killing Jack Bauer doesn’t make him dead, it just makes him angry. He couldn’t find his keys one time, so he tortured himself until he revealed the location of his keys. He once played a game of Russian roulette with a fully loaded gun and WON!
Okay, I totally stole all of those. They’re pretty funny, though.
(I rented and watched seasons 1 through 5 this past fall. I’m pretty much desensitized now.)
BSC: OH NO! I just started watching the first 5 seasons. I can see where this is leading me! lol

I’ve been addicted to 24 since the first episode of the season one. I can’t count the times he’s said, “I need you to trust me.” LOL I’m thrilled you’ve joined the 24 Bandwagon. Welcome!

BSC: That a show here in the U.S. I think Jack Bauer is the American version of James Bond.

Does this mean that since I’ve never seen the show that now, thanks to you, I’ll become an addict? I’ll have to consider that one…great idea for a thirteen.
BSC: I do actually think that’s what that means. I just made one little post on here about 24 a couple of weeks ago, I had never seen it before and not - just 2 weeks later this is my 3rd post about 24. I think that’s probably not a good thing! I just keep watching to see when he ever sleeps? No wonder he’s so cranky!

Now that you mention it, I think I’ve heard him say, ‘Set up a perimeter ..’ in every episode I’ve watched! Of course, I haven’t watched that many yet
