Sunday Seven

Sunday Seven - a Review of the Week

  1. The very best thing that happened this past week is that my son is not in Iraq. He’s on a two-week leave. He’s not home, but he’s not in Iraq. I’ve gotten to talk with him on the phone almost every day since he got to his R&R. YEAH!
  2. My mother had some surgery and came through just fine and with good results.
  3. My daughter seems to be getting adjusted to her new life in California. I know that because she is not calling me as often. On the other hand, I miss her calls!
  4. I worked too much this past week, but finished up a couple of things that had been hanging over my head. They are finished and I didn’t touch anything that had to do with work all weekend.
  5. My son’s girlfriend is spoiling him to death. I’m very pleased that she seems to be a very sweet young lady and they seem to genuinely care for each other.
  6. One of my major stresses at work took a sudden turn this week and I am allowing myself just a tiny bit of hope that it’s going to work out.
  7. The major thing this week is that my son is not in Baghdad. I know I already wrote that - but that really is the major good thing that happened this week. It’s amazing the sense of utter relief of that!

NOTE: I don’t know why my Mister Linky is opening in another window??? I’ll figure it out - meanwhile, I’ll make sure your links on on the front page. :)
