Congress sent a clear unmistakable message to the enemies of America today. They sent the message to the world, our enemies and allies alike. The message is that Osama bin Laden was right about us when he said we are weak and lacked the stomach for a fight. He said all the islamofascist have to do is wait us out. He said we lack the moral discipline to sacrifice even the slightest immediate gratification, therefore we would surrender.
Today Congress has begun the process of doing just that. And they seem to be quite pleased with themselves.
Since the President announced there would be a Troop surge in Iraq, the insurgents have been fleeing Iraq. You see, they are afraid of us. They only fight us when they think we are weak. Even the swaggering al-Sadr has fled Iraq for fear this Troop surge would bring his reign of terror to a bloody end.
Since the President announced there would be a Troop surge in Iraq, the little dictator Kim Jong-Il of North Korea had a moments thought of cooperating with the world and abandoning his nuclear ambitions.
Since the President announced there would be a Troop surge in Iraq, the Iranian people have gotten bolder and grumblings were starting to be heard that they did not like the direction their insane president ama-mama-jihad was going in. It was the looking like there might be a glimmer of hope that the hitler of our time might not have the backing of his people to continue with his mad rush to war.
The democrats sent them all a message today. They told them there is no need for them to worry about the United States. We will not interfere with them continuing with their plans to destroy us. They sent a message that our Troops in Iraq are there alone and virtually defenseless.
The Democratic leadership set aside most of the week for the historic debate, expected to culminate in a vote on Friday on a bare-bones, nonbinding resolution that “disapproves of the decision of President George W. Bush … to deploy more than 20,000 additional United States combat troops to Iraq.”
Republicans say ‘Don’t Retreat’
“We’ve made our views known, in terms of what people have to keep in mind. But members of the House and members of the Senate have the freedom to go ahead and write their resolutions and do what they want with them,†he said.
Additionally, ambassadors from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and Qatar met with several Republican lawmakers during the day and warned them of the consequences of a precipitous U.S. withdrawal from Iraq. Rep. Todd Akin, R-Mo., said one ambassador compared the U.S. involvement in Iraq to open-heart surgery – requiring the surgeon to stay until the job was finished.
The democrats voted to send our Troops to war. They now say they were tricked into that vote. They have neither the courage to stand behind their vote or the courage to take responsibility for the vote. Instead, they claim they were too dumb to understand what they were voting for.
Now, the democrats are passing a ‘nonbinding resolution’ that has no teeth in it except it gives them the opportunity to slam it in our President’s face. They say they support the Troops but are sending the message they don’t support the war. They don’t even have the courage to pass a resolution that would actually end the war.
They say they won’t cut funding to the Troops while they are drafting resolutions to cut funding from the Troops. They say they support the Troops, but they leave them in a war zone without support and tell our enemies that our Troops in theater are sitting ducks.
It’s words, no action, all politics.
Our representatives have collectively stood as a body and given aid and comfort to the enemy. They personify the definition of sedition.
They want us to be more like the Fwench and today they have taken a major step to move us in that direction. But we have always rescued the Fwench. Who will rescue us?

Just Another War Lost at Home?
It invites a judgment on our country that could be terrible and swift.
Remember this the next time you hear about how the House Democrats “support” the troops.
The Democrats and other cowards in America and around the world can moan and cry about sending twenty thousand more troops over, but the very fact that Moqtada al Sadr is scared at just the prospect of it proves that it’s the right thing to do.

Democrats are simply invested in the US’s defeat. Sickening.
The demigods are the true terrorists in are country as it shows they support them more and more every day. They are gutless, spineless liberals who will do everything in there power to protect them. It’s sad that these liberals are in congress and we the people who pay there wages that they soul do not earn. Just listen to them makes me sick when they talk about supporting are troops. They don’t care about the troops. Do you here them speaking out when are troops got beheaded or blown up. NO! Only do you here them saying that Sodom was hung unfairly. And bill Clinton Knew about 9/11 as Sandy Berger destroyed the papers and nothing is done to him? What the hell if that was a republican they would be hell to pay
