I guess I’m NOT banned in China. I thought I MIGHT be, but little ol’ Blue Star Chronicles is just not important enough to be banned in China OR India. That’s really humiliating!
If you want to find out if YOU are banned in China, just go to The Great Firewall of China and test your site. You have to turn off Bad Behavior before you test it so don’t forget to turn it back on after.
Some very fine blogs are banned. Basil’s Blog is banned and he’s created a corner banner you can use if you discover that you are in this good company.
The Pirate’s Cove is banned. Both Teach and Basil found out about this site from Orge, who like me is not important enough to be banned.
We have a couple of banned Cotillionites, Beth at My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy and Hooah Wife and Friends.
Wow. Just wow!
UPDATE: If I can’t be banned, at least I have kin who are banned. My cousin, Cozy Reader, is banned in China as well!! I’m so proud!

P.S. I didn’t ‘turn off’ Bad Behavior because I don’t know how and am not sure I have it. But just in case, tell me how to do it so I can recheck my banned status!
BSC: You probably don’t have it on your blog if you don’t know how to turn it off. I’m not sure you can put it on a blogspot blog??? Don’t worry about it

Jane, check your plugins, see if it is there and turned on. If you do not have it, I HIGHLY recommend using it and Akismet.
Beth, we’ll work on getting you banned. I’m sure most liberals have you banned for supporting the troops as it is.
BSC: I just feel so unimportant!! China won’t even ban me! Apparently I need to get more controversial! I love Taiwan, maybe that will help!

My profoundest sympathies on hearing you are not banned in China. Perhaps if you published revealing photos of Asian girls as I do, you might have a chance.
And certainly a few articles on an independent Taiwan should help. (with a few revealing Taiwanese girls thrown in, of course, if not for the Chinese then for me, please)
But I love your articles nevertheless.

I know how you can get banned in China real fast!!
You did some guest posting over at BethC’s (MVRWC) coupla months ago, where I met you. If you could guest post some of her more sweary & in-your-face posts, you’d get banned in a heartbeat!! I’m sure she would be willing to help you out!! FWIW

my pleasure I love your site …I am a USAF reservist and have 2 USA active duty loved ones, father and son (nephew and brother in law) proudly serving this country…the nephew is leaving for afganishtan in june and the bil is leaving for his 3rd tour on iraq in september ….again love your site …will make sure my sister sees it …wife and mom of the bil and nephew

China firewall is lame, use water to put out the fire of the wall but how do you get over the wall? – use Freedur.com to bypass it. You can bypass China Great Firewall and access youtube, facebook, blogger and all other sites which are blocked.
