Ha ha!!! My bird, an African Grey, did this same thing last week. We ended up having to wire the doors shut. He then chewed through the original cord we put on the door. We then put a thicker, stronger cord on the door and so far so good.
I just wish I had thought to make a video of his escape!

I have a new Visa number so to access my account, i had to remember my pet’s name and he has been my pet since he hapened to be here…I think…several years ago since he has visited me.

Our door latch is spring loaded and I took the ring off so it could only be opened from outside the cage.
