I’m sickened by our most loudly vocal countrymen. They have no idea the sacrifices made on their behalf. They are oblivious to what is done to protect their right to spit in the faces of their fellow Americans and to burn our Soldiers in effigy.

I’ve read an unhealthy number of articles and comments the last few days from the left who seem to delight in calling patriotic Americans ‘fascists’ while calling for the murder of those who don’t agree with their point of view.

One commenter wrote that anyone not believing that the American government planned and orchestrated the 9/11 attacks at the behest of Israel should be lined up against the walls of the Pentagon and shot. That same commenter went on to write that even better, we should all be marched to the top of skyscrapers in New York City and pushed off.

That same commenter called the people he/she wants to kill ‘fascists’. The commenter obviously doesn’t understand the meaning of the word ‘fascist’.

In the video of the protester in D.C. spitting on a counter-protester, a 20-something male is walking proudly down the street speaking with authority, ‘Lawful assembly, guaranteed by our first amendment rights.’ He repeats this several times and looks very proud of himself. How very brave of him. Marching in Washington D.C. and protesting against the United States of America is not exactly a risky thing to do. I suppose it’s exciting for someone like him.

I’d be impressed with his bravery if he had the guts to be loyal to his own country.

One man, holding a flag upside-down insists he’s not criticize YOUR Troops. YOUR Troops. Are they not HIS Troops, too? Does he not understand they are defending HIS right to hold that flag upside-down? He was being protected by OUR Troops even as he was saying those words against them.

Several blogs have compiled links to the actions of the leftists in their recent anti-war protests. The media has portrayed them as peaceful protests. But these bad actors have been anything but peaceful.

Hot Air has a lot of links to examples of how the left is supporting America and our Troops in this War Against Jihadists. For example, the Milwaukee protesters who spread feces on an Army Recruiting Office. They have much more, unfortunately.

The one I found most disturbing was from Little Green Footballs. It’s a video of a bunch of anarchist in Oregon burning an American Soldier in effigy. So much for the guise of supporting the Troops.

In the background they are chanting about building a bonfire and piling the Soldiers on top and the fascists in the middle. One woman is heard asking about the disadvantaged people who join the Army and become brainwashed. These people actually believe that!!! One woman can be heard saying ‘violence begets violence’, justifying her call for the murder of American Soldiers. Apparently, she’s forgotten about 9/11 and the violence that was done to the civilian population of the United States.

Michelle Malkin points out more of the disgusting and anti-American behavior of this same group from Oregon.

This splinter group of protesters showed its support for ‘peace’ by burning a U.S. soldier in effigy. It exhibited its supposedly pacifist nature by knocking a police officer off his bike - an action that brought out the police riot squad.

Perhaps the most disturbing scene of the afternoon, however, involved the man who pulled down his pants in front of women and children and defecated on a burning U.S. flag. This disgusting act actually elicited cheers from some members of the crowd, but we hope that the emotion it produces in the community is one of revulsion…

All of this in the name of peace.

Every society has a segment that is willing to participate in the bounty of the harvest but not willing to do the labor necessary to raise the harvest. They are the child-like segment of the population that never mature and never learn to respect those that provide for them.

To compound this behavior, with this segment of the population, they are raised by people who allow them to cuss and mouth-off to their parents when they don’t get their way. So they feel they have every right to mouth off to any and every authority figure they come across, from the police to the President. They show no respect because they have never been taught to respect. They are selfish, self-centered and childish.

There are leaders and followers in every society. There are those who do the heavy lifting and those who expect a free ride. There are adults and children.

These people are the perpetual spoiled children who will forever need the Soldier and the Patriot to keep them safe even while they are completely oblivious to the fact that there are others keeping them safe. They are the ones that have to be provided for. They need to have the food set on the table for them because they haven’t got any idea how the food is grown, gathered and prepared. They turn the water on at the sink without any understanding of the complicated process of getting the water from it’s source to the tip of their fingers.

They are nothing more than a typical parasitic infestation of a free society. The freer the society the more you have these sorts of parasites.
