It's like they all know you aren't going anywhere, so they take their time - take a smoke break, potty break, or snack break, in between taking care of the patients! You are stuck in the bed, unable to do anything about it. My husband found out what I meant when he had his first stay in the hospital for surgery about 1 1/2 years ago. He spent 10 days in there, and it wasn't a pleasant stay most of the time. Glad you are at home now, and enjoying your own bed.
