The loose-lipped lesbian dropped the F-bomb as Barbara Walters lowered her head on the dais and covered her face with her hand. O’Donnell concluded a rant about Donald Trump by grabbing her crotch and shouting, “Eat me!”
O’Donnell also said she was sad when Trump called her “disgusting” and “fat” because, “it was always my dream to give an old, bald billionaire a boner.”
The annual luncheon of N.Y. Women in Communications - which honored Cindy Adams, Meredith Vieira, Joan Didion, Susan Lyne, Arianna Huffington and Lisa Caputo, among others - featured as presenters News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch, Joy Behar, Nora Ephron, Martha Stewart and Sen. Hillary Clinton.
Also on hand were 17 sweet-faced high school girls who won scholarships to pursue their dreams of careers in media.
“I was offended by how vulgar and common O’Donnell was,” said Robert Zimmerman, a Democrat active in progressive causes. “It was especially inappropriate with young people present.”
Brandon Holley, editor-in-chief of Jane magazine, said, “I wasn’t personally offended, but I thought it was fun to watch other people be offended.”
“I cringed and dove under the table when she said, ‘Eat me,’ ” said one woman attendee who declined to be identified.
Among those in the crowd were Judith Giuliani, her predecessor Donna Hanover, Judge Judy Sheindlin, Helen Gurley Brown, Sue Simmons, Geri Laybourne of Oxygen Media, Jane Friedman of HarperCollins, and Hearst president Cathie Black.
O’Donnell’s publicist, Cindi Berger, told us: “When you ask for Rosie, you know what you’re getting. She’s not a shrinking violet. She’s a stand-up comedienne. She says things that are provocative.”
N.Y. Women in Communications was evidently happy with O’Donnell. The group’s managing director, Beth Ellen Keyes, sent an e-mail to her handlers saying, “Rosie was fabulous. Please let Rosie know how much we appreciated her being there. She was just great.”
Every time we dare to think that Rosie has crossed the line, she steps a bit farther and the line keeps moving. For her.
Can you just imagine Rosie having a job ANYWHERE if she did not tout the party line? No, she wouldn’t. She’d be fired so quick your head would spin.
She’s billed as a comedienne, but she’s not funny. She’s nothing more than a mouthy, hateful, ranting, angry wanna-be-male who everyone is afraid to fire because she’ll attack them. And she’s untouchable because she has a forum through which she can put the lunatic fringe conspiracy theories out into the main stream without being questioned.
She’s useful to those who have the power and money to back her insanity as long as it serves their purposes. *cough* Soros *cough*
Apparently, in our current culture, this sort of base behavior is celebrated rather than scorned. That makes me sad for our culture.

BSC: As they say around here - I heard THAT!
RT and I went out Friday night with a business associate to a blues & jazz club in Nashville. As I sat at the table looking around, I noticed a tall woman standing with her back to me. She had on a short black dress with criss-cross spaghetti straps in back - very low-cut in the back - sexy and elegant. She had long dark hair and a very nice figure. She was with a man who was equally tall and elegant-looking - at least as much as you can tell from looking at two people from the rear. THEN the woman turned around. I SWEAR she could have been Rosie’s thin twin. It was a shock - the same sneer-smile. YIKES! I actually felt sorry for the woman - to be burdened with that face.

Our obsession with “political correctness” has to begin to wane soon! There are segments of society that cannot be censured regardless of how bizarre, bigoted, and offensive they become. The Gay/lesbian community enjoys that protection in our country now it seems. I have not watched “The View” since this disgusting, loud-mouth, negative human being joined the cast.
BSC: I’ve never watched it - but I have certainly heard more of it since that person joined the cast, which is probably why she’s still there. I think all the political correctness takes pizazz out of life. We have to be so careful you can’t even comment on things. It makes me wonder if people are so sensitive they can’t even take a joke or a jab. I would be insulted if ppl had to walk on eggs around me so much as though I was that delicate.
Does The View have any viewers left at all? And who do they find to sit in the audience? You couldn’t pay me enough! I’m hoping Joan is right and political correctness is on it’s way out.
Couple of points:
1. The View not only has an audience, you have to wait over a year to get tickets and the ratings shot through the roof when Ms. O’Donnell joined the show.
2. The beautiful part of this discussion is very basic and we all take it for granted: Freedom of speech. So Ms. O’Donnell is free to say what she wants and we are all free to respond.
3. What does this term used in the post mean: “Wanna-be-male”? Is that a reference to the fact that Ms. O’Donnell is gay? Is that a not-so-nice term for “lesbian”? (:-| Or am I misinterpreting it?
Yes she is disgusting and completely unfunny. Thank goodness she’s almost gone. The MSM will play down the real reasons, but we can be fairly sure that the axe came because of a massive outpouring of complete revulsion by viewers. Rosie just went a bit too far and showed America what lefty nuts are all about.
