I have become convinced that the Democratic leadership will sacrifice our sons and daughters without hesitation if it enables them to achieve their political goals: re-take the White House and advance their agenda. This is made easier by the sad fact that virtually none of them have children in harm's way. Read AWOL by Frank Schaeffer for the strongest indictment I have seen on our leadership's abrogation of it's military responsibilities. They are taking away our freedoms - bit by bit - and they're working for the end of our country. And that sounds drastic - but it's true. They're either too stupid or too blind to see how their words and lack of support are damaging the core of what America is all about.
