Nanoscan is a Malware scanner from Panda security that will scan your PC for many threats, including to determine whether you are infected with viruses, spyware or Trojans. It does the scan in one minute and best of all it’s FREE.
Having lost data and one computer to viruses in the past, I’m pretty sensitive to the threat of viruses and take a number of precautions. If I haven’t learned anything else, I’ve learned you can be infected an not know it, even when you are diligent in scanning.
Nanoscan contains the following features:
- It detects more than 840,714 known malware samples. It also detects unknown malware
- It gets downloaded and it does the scan in approximately 1 minute
- It only occupies around 400k
