Will the madness of this woman never end? No, because I don’t think the woman can keep her mouth shut. Bullies are funny that way, they run their mouths endlessly.
Rosie O’Donnell called Elisabeth Hasselbeck cowardly when she would not respond yes or no to whether Hasselbeck thought O’Donnell viewed the troops as terrorists.
O’Donnell was referring to comments that she said earlier this week that were misunderstood by Republicans.
“You said nothing and that’s cowardly,” O’Donnell said.
Hasselbeck shot back. “Do not call me a coward. Because No. 1, I sit here every single day and open my heart and tell people exactly what I believe.”
I notice this article refers to Rosie’s comments as being ‘misunderstood by Republicans’. That’s typical. Isn’t it funny how every time a progressive gets caught saying something completely outrageous, mean-spirited and/or anti-American their defense is that they were misunderstood.
They seem to think the rest of the country is too dumb to understand the King’s English.
I have no idea how Elizabeth Hasselbeck stands going to work and listening to that woman run her mouth every single day.

O’Donnell is getting angrier and angrier…how long before she starts throwing punches?
Seriously though, she’s gone into tinfoil hat territory now with her conspiracy theories.

KEEP SPEAKING ROSIE!!!! You are being heard. You give voice to those of us who are thinking the same way as you. PEACE OUT!

Rosie’d be lucky to live in Canada, here we get to speak our minds and not get blasted for it by scared and small minded people like Hasselbeck. We are actually allowed to have different opinions and not be called ‘UnCanadian’ for it…
seems quite different for our neighbours down south? Anyone that disagrees with the goverments stand is ‘unpatriotic’ apparently, pretty sad considering i believe there is something about free speech in your constitution?

Since when did being a “goodie two shoes” become something to hate? No one is saying EH is perfect (no one is!) but why is it wrong to try to live your best life? Why do people hate it when EH believes in saving babies or in moral principles outlined in the Bible, or when EH wants to live a healthy lifestyle by keeping in shape? I don’t necessarily believe all that she does, but i don’t hate her for living her own life. I happen to have brwn hair but i were a blond i’d be happy about it. Why all the petty low blows? No one is more or less intelligent because of the color of their hair!! Give me a break.
The person who wrote the comparison of Al Sharpton and Ro was RIGHT! Ro is the first to accuse someone else of discrimination.
I do believe that Ro has brought a very different perspective to the show, but i’m tired of it being the “pro-gay” daytime show. I’m tired of the View being the “i love Broadway” show, or the “let’s bash pres.bush show”. Because homosexuality is such a big issue in this country I am glad there is a place where it can be discussed (actually, only one side of this issue is discussed on this show)… but I don’t want to hear about it every day just like i don’t want to hear (or see) about hetero intercourse on day time television. I am not a huge fan of our current president but i certainly hold respect for his office and would rather keep the discussion focused on the “ideas” of the president rather than bashing him personally for his accent or his personal idiosyncrasies. This argument between both women really made it clear to me that I am done with this show!

Rosie was a lot more believable when she was playing a spoiled little brat kid sister in A League of Their Own. I just didn’t realize that she was not acting. For those who think that she speaks for the rest of us, think again! Here is the short list of her flaws: Flagrantly gay, believes in fairy tale reasons for the Iraq war, believes we (the GOVERNMENT)blew up WTC building, gets P.O.’d when Donald, “Don’t touch my Hair,” Trump trumps her, can’t get along with anyone but her ‘wife” and that is still to be seen over the long term. You know, abusive on the air, abusive at home! Let’s face it, she’s a pig, with the brain of an ant. ABC gets a plus for dumping her fat a**!!!

As a gay man, I am glad that Elisabeth finally fully stood up to Rosie and did not let her browbeat her into submission or silence. Rosie usually lets Elizabeth say her piece but then talks over her and never lets anyone else have the last word. That is a typical prroblem with many lesbians,. They have a superiority complex and think that theirs is the only opinion that matters. Yeah Elisabeth.

I think that the soldier who replied failed to see what Rosie has done to support the troops. She has not flaunted her money but given millions of it away to support the soldiers and families. I am a family member of a soldier and although I do not agree with the war I support the troops. I do not think that she has ever said nor acted in a way that was not in support. She does not agree with the war like most Americans at this point, as per latest Washington polls. I think that people who do not like Rosie are the ones who are afraid to speak out. I am also sure that more than most have at one time or another agreed with her. I think that if you wish her to Canada for not being in favor of th war, you would be wishing most of the citizens of the US with her.

I’m a soldier currently deployed in support of OIF. I am in the infantry. If the figure of 655,000 Iraqis dead is correct, I would be willing to bet more than ninety percent of that figure is at the hands of insurgents. Or Iraqi Army/Police. I may not believe in what we’re doing here, but I do my job because I have to. Personally I don’t think people should have a big, opionated view of this war unless you’ve been here. Watch a humvee blow up right in front of your eyes. To say that terrorism doesn’t exist is absurd. Tell that to my buddies at Walter Reed. But to say we can totally eradicate terrorism may be more absurd. In my opinion it will always be around.
Just my opinion, not from speculation but experience.

Rosie is a lot of things, misunderstood is not one of them. She feels this war is unnecessary and that the reasons for fighting it were fabricated. She’s an unfortunate, ignorant, misguided person that has been given an opportunity to display her ignorance on a National Forum. That’s unfortunate for her.
BSC: Very well said!
