Page 6 is reporting that Rosie has left The View with a Bang and not a whimper.
May 25, 2007 — ROSIE O’Donnell left “The View” with a bang, not a whimper, following her on-air smackdown with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Wednesday.
Yesterday, Rosie’s chief writer, Janette Barber, was allegedly escorted from the building after she was caught drawing mustaches on photographs of Hasselbeck that hang in the “View” studios.
The Post’s Adam Buckman reports ABC confirmed in a statement only that “photographs at ‘The View’s’ offices were defaced. Rosie O’Donnell was not in the building. ABC Legal and Human Resources are investigating the matter.” Barber is an old friend of O’Donnell who worked with her years ago on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.”
There were also rumors O’Donnell was so angry after her argument with Hasselbeck that she trashed her dressing room, although ABC denied the tantrum.
Now, that’s mature.
Rosie ended up calling Elizabeth names (’cowardly’) and belittling her in their on-air argument. When someone starts responding to a ‘debate’ on that personal level they have lost the debate. In other words, they can’t hold their own with their opponent.
The fact that Rosie was unable to hold her own in that argument without her over-talking, bullying, name calling tactics could very well be what moved her to pitch a tantrum in her dressing room afterward. She just can’t handle ‘debating’ with someone who doesn’t act afraid of her. Especially when that someone is a cute blond woman.
As for O’Donnell, she’s been posting comments on her personal Web site, rosie.com, fueling speculation she might not return to “The View” ever again. Her scheduled last day is Wednesday, June 20.
When one fan wrote, “Work isn’t worth that battle,” Rosie replied, “Agreed.” Another wrote, “Please walk away. It’s not worth it.” Rosie replied, “Well, you know when it’s time to go.”
To a fan who asked when she would return, O’Donnell answered, “No idea.”
Yesterday, O’Donnell posted a video that may have symbolized how she’s feeling about “The View.”
The tape consisted of ducks swimming in a pond accompanied by an audio track of the John Mayer song “Vultures,” whose lyrics include “How will I hold my head to keep from going under?”
Well, the self-pity is just oozing on her blog apparently.
Rosie, GROW UP! You bring that on yourself with your hateful rants and constant bullying. Nobody ever likes bullies.

Rosie pretty much argues the way most liberals debate: with personal attacks, innuendo, and nuance, as well as talking over people, but no substance, facts, or civility.
Now she can go on to do other moonbat things. Is it any wonder there really is no dialogue between liberals and conservatives?

I just caught this on the news… I know I’m a little slow, but I cant spend my whole day in front of the TV. I had to double check Hot Air to make sure I heard what I thought I heard.

I don’t really follow entertainment much but in this case, from the split screen excerpt, I would say that Elizabeth is a person with a lot of details in her brain and she uses them to defend her immature desire to put people down so she feels like a big shot. She likely knows deep down that she jumped to conclusions regarding Rosie’s attitude and is hitting out. Her childishness got Rosie’s back up.
Now you have two children at it and unfortunately Rosie will never have resolution unless Elizabeth is willing to maturely look at the facts of the matter.
It has nothing to do with politics. It only has to do with the fact that Rosie considers herself maligned because Elizabeth jumped to the conclusion that she could extrapolate nonsense from her own mind and claim someone else is responsible for it. Elizabeth doesn’t understand the nature of people and hides behind facts. Until she can face reality, Rosie can not make her get it.
Unfortunately, Rosie should let it lie because Elizabeth will keep building her defenses until she has the guts to look at the situation without emotion colouring it. Rosie will have to accept that the grownups get it but Elizabeth may never get off her high horse. She would have to accept that she is human and that may be too stressful to handle. Rosie has to be the bigger person because I don’t think Elizabeth has got what it takes. I hope Rosie doesn’t want to cause a personality melt down in her fellow human.

Rosie I love u so much for all u stand for BUT when u use a child this is NOT right………..rethink that u are doing………….kids are not to be usedand u are better then this………..
