The searches for Jessie Davis are continuing today. Over the last several days thousands of people have shown up to help search the fields around Canton, Ohio. Today 800 have already shown up to search the fields.
The police have made it clear that they have not released all the information they have on this crime. Therefore, it is of concern that they are focusing their efforts on searching fields. I wouldn’t think a woman being held alive would be in the fields.
One of the things that bothers me about this story is the Baby Daddy. I keep hearing people on television talking about what a good relationship Bobby Cutts, Jr. has with his children. As I stated in an earlier post about this, he has children with several women. Apparently, he wasn’t paying child support and had on-going relationships with several women simultaneously, including his wife. A woman who has a 9-year-old daughter by Bobby Cutts, Jr. has made claims that he was violent with her and her daughter and that he hasn’t seen that daughter in several years.
That might be some people’s definition of a ‘good father’, but it’s not mine.
I have never understood women who are attracted to men who will abuse them, impregnate them and leave them to raise the children alone. Showing up to see the child once in a while does not constitute a good father. Why a woman would stay in that kind of relationship is beyond me.
My theory is that ’someone’ who Jessie knew well came over for a visit. They were in the bedroom. They got into an argument. It got violent. She ended up falling or being thrown into the bedside table. The ’someone’ then went to great lengths to cover up the ‘accident’.
We really don’t know everything Jessie’s two-year-old son has told about what happened that night.
I hope the search that is going on now in Ohio has good results.
