The son of former Vice-President Al Gore, Al Gore, III, is currently sitting in the Santa Ana Inmate Reception Center on $20,000 bail. He was arrested earlier on suspicion of drug possession.
The 24-year-old Al Gore, III was pulled over after allegedly driving his Prius 100 miles an hour on an Orange County California freeway. When his car was searched they found pot, Valium, Xanax, Vicodin and Adderall.
He’s had brushes with the law in the past. In 2000 and 2002 he was cited for reckless driving. In 2003 he was charged with marijuana possession.
If his parents are smart they’ll let him sit over at the jail till he detoxes and can figure out how to get out on his own. Consequences are the best teachers.

I’d take all of that crap too if I couldn’t escape the shadow of a disingenuous, messianic, and thoughtless father who wanted us all to turn back the clock on human development, and impoverish humanity while he plays with his “enlightened†MacBook and Prius.

I don’t like Al Gore, or his politics, or his global warming fantasies, but his kids are off limits. We see adult children of the poor, the middle class, the wealthy, celebrities, ministers, trash haulers and school teachers not living as they were brought up. Al didn’t bend his elbow. He loves him and did the best he knew how to do.

I’m with The Daily Pundit - I didn’t know a Prius could go that fast. LOL!
And I think ADULT children of politicians and celebrities and anyone else are definitely not off limits. If he’s old enough to drive and vote and be legally an adult, then he’s old enough to be held publicly accountable for his behavior.
