It doesn’t surprise me at all that the ACLU is fighting for the rights of the ‘artists’ to use the likenesses and names of fallen Soldiers to express their political opinions on t-shirts. It doesn’t seem to occur to the ACLU OR to these ‘artists’ that theirs aren’t the only rights involved in this. The rights of the fallen and the rights of the families of the fallen are also involved.

Greene, who says he will produce these shirts because the government doesn’t have the right to tell him he can’t, apparently doesn’t give a second thought to USING those who have given their lives to defend his right to defy his government. He will use them to prove … what? That he can? We already know he can. People can defy the United States government without having their heads chopped off.

All we are asking is that these ‘artists’ show a minimum amount of respect for those who put themselves in harms way so that people in this country can continue to behave as though nothing has changed.

Let our Soldiers do their jobs, let the fallen rest in peace and let their families mourn without having to worry that their sons will be used for propaganda or to express some ‘artist’ artistic sentiments. Get over yourselves. You just aren’t that important.
