I know it’s not really news that Cindy Sheehan would stoop to using her dead son for her own agenda and for publicity. But still. It makes me sick whenever she does it, especially this blatantly.
This woman just makes me sick.
We all would be better off if she had just stayed retired more than 15 minutes.

You are so dead-on here it isn’t funny. This woman has a mental disorder BEYOND her losing her son.
I lost a brother in Vietnam and I went over the edge for a while but I made it back. This woman needs to be locked up.

I disagree with the notion that someone loses their right to speak out for a cause simply because they have a personal connection to it. A majority of Americans now believe that the war in Iraq was a mistake and Cindy Sheehan is one of them (CBS News/New York Times Poll. July 20-22, 2007. N=889 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3). Ms. Sheehan is not being vilified by the right because of her son, but because she is a recognized member of the anti-war movement. If a loved one of yours was killed by a drunk driver, how would you feel when I accused you of “stooping” after you joined MADD?
BSC: No one has stated she couldn’t speak out because she has a connection to the war. I do this blog for the same reason. But the fact that she has a connection to the war, the fact she lost a son in Iraq, does not mean she speaks for ME. It also doesn’t make her any less an idiot.
Most people don’t like the WAY the war is being implemented. Very few Americans really want to cut & run (aka surrender).

Ryan, I have to agree with you…. The soldiers voices are just beginning to be heard and it will take a life time for many of them to remotely resemble the young men and women they were before our President waged war. Cindy hears the hearts of many of our young children in Iraq and I refuse to judge her, she has taken a stand and Americans today have forgotten how to do this for the most part…. They allow large companies to run our country and until our Country is ready to give its all for our soldiers in Iraq then “”"Cindy Right ON”"”
