Leroy Greer of Texas ordered some flowers for his girlfriend from 1-800-Flowers. He sent a sweet loving note with the flowers. Isn’t that precious?
The problem for Leroy is that when he bought the flowers he used a credit card with both his and his wife’s name on it. He told the florist he wanted the purchase to be confidential. But you have to take into account that as far as the florist was concerned, both him and his spouse were on the credit card. When they sent a thank-you note to Leroy’s home, his wife was none too happy about it. She called 1-800-Flowers and asked for copy of the receipt. She felt justified since her name was on the credit card used to purchase the flowers.
Needless to say, when she received the receipt she said that note to the girlfriend was going to cost her husband $300,000 dollars.
They were already going through a divorce but it was amicable up until that point. Now, she is decided to sue him for a settlement of $300,000 in addition to child support.
Leroy is suing 1-800-Flowers for $1M for breach of their privacy policy.
I think Leroy messed up.

Oops!
BSC: HAHAHAAHA - Oops is right!
I love 1-800 -flowers…..this smells like another lawsuit akin to the judge that sued over his lost pants. I truly hope Leroy loses his before it’s all over. Idiot. :-}
BSC: Yeah - he got caught with his pants down (so to speak) and now he’s hoping he can get 1-800-flowers to pay for the extra money its going to cost him. What an idiot!!!
Ha! If he’s stupid enough to buy flowers with a credit card with his wife’s name on it, then he deserves to be caught. What an idiot! And . . . his wife deserves to know about the affair - since he’e messing around, he is putting her in danger for sexually transmitted diseases. She needs to sue him for more than $300,000 for physical endangerment and for his being stupid.
