I also posted about Elvis, his home Graceland. I bought my first Elvis record in 1957 I guess, he was already famous in Germany but not yet in other European countries.

One of my favorite memories from college was picking up one Summer day and heading to Memphis and Graceland with two friends. I’ll always remember when he died, but I’ll always treasure that special day in Graceland. Of course, I also remember the staff applauded when we left…

I appreciate that you included only pictures of the “real” Elvis - who he was before the image became a caricature - the “Los Vegas” Elvis was a sick man on his way to an early death.
